The tutor will assess practical teaching continuously throughout the course. There will normally also be two visits by a moderator. Theoretical knowledge will be assessed by means of written evidence i.e. the Assistant Teacher Log Book and a short written exam consisting of previously answered questions. |

Theoretical knowledge will be assessed by means of a 30 question multiple choice question paper at the end of the day. The candidates will be required to answer 20 questions correctly to pass the paper. Results and certificates will be forwarded to candidates when they are received from the RIPH. |
