An increasing part of our work is helping clubs with funding bids - whether it is a small application up to £5000 or a larger community facility bid such as Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre, Prudhoe WestWorld or Prudhoe Football Centre.
Facility Development
Gaining funding can be difficult for sports clubs, so the Sports Development team are on hand to support and advise. Our team have a great partnership with the Tynedale Council Economic Development department.
We can help clubs develop their own constitutions, policies and development plans.
Club Success
Bellingham Netball Club received £4,000 to launch a new adult squad within their club. The new squad attracts over thirty women and young adults to it’s sessions on a weekly basis.
Leisure Tynedale have worked closely with Tynedale Rugby Club and Corbridge Football Club to develop a brand new clubhouse extension, enabling local footballers to play and train in their village. The facility grant is set to be in the region of £300,000.
